This pretty hat has a super stretchy rib with a twist and delightful bobbles on the brim.

It was inspired by dried seed heads rustling on the wind in a steep valley rising above the sand dunes above Vellandreath beach in Cornwall.

The stitch pattern used in this design results in a very stretchy fabric and the hat fits a wide range of sizes with 5-15 cm of negative ease. The depth of the hat can be adjusted as desired by working more or fewer repeats of body pattern.
