The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up using 3,5mm (US 4) circular needles for the brim and 4mm (US 6) circular needles for the body. If you are not using long circular needles and the Magic Loop Method, you can use 40cm (16”) circular needles but you may need to change to double pointed needles as you decrease.

SIZE: S/M – M/L – L/XL
Fits a head circumference of approx. 54/56 – 56/58 – 58/60cm
Finished Height (incl. brim): approx. 29-30-31cm (11.5-12-12.25”)

MATERIAL:
– two different colours of DK weight yarn: 100gr. = 200m (3.5 oz = 218yds)
Colour A: Contrast colour: approx. 50-60-70m (55-65-75yds)
Colour B: Main colour: approx. 150-170-190m (165-185-210yds)
Yarn used in pattern: Freckles & Speckles Merino DK in colours ‘Desert’ & ‘Berry Woods’ – Hats shown in picture are a size S/M and one skein of each colour was enough to make both hats when reversing the colour.
