Although this yarn is labeled “DK”, it’s more like fingering yarn in my opinion. Be sure to check your gauge using K1, P1 rib stitch.

Finished Measurements (unstretched):
12 inches 30.5 cm in circumference x 8.5 inches 21.6 cm high

Cap is knit from the bottom to the top in the round.

For a baby or young child, turn back the brim. An older child or adult may wear this as a stocking cap with the brim down. It’s very stretchy! If an adult or teen wishes to wear the hat with the brim turned back, just add enough rows at the beginning to measure an additional 2 - 3 inches.
