This hat is worked in brioche stitch to make a thick brim with a stockinette top. The pattern gives three options for colors and design elements to customize your hat, including a chart for embroidered bugs using duplicate stitch. This hat is one size, and you will need 7.0 and 9.0 mm needles (either double pointed or circular for magic loop) as well as about 170 yards of both bulky yarn and lace weight mohair. The yarns are held together to create a luscious fabric with a soft halo.
