Hat Without a Name.
Hat Without a Name! Knit this hat in a light yarn (sample shown in Malabrigo Yarn Mechita in Sandbank) for a soft classic toque. The overall repeat is simple and easy, and the crown shaping works well with the wide ribbing motif. \
This is a pretty nice one for transitional fall weather. (Or spring, if you’re into that right now)
It matches the cowl without a name.
Materials:
- 175-210 yds of fingering yarn; sample shown in Malabrigo Yarn Mechita in Sandbank
- one 16” circular needle in US3/3.25mm, or size needed for gauge
- one set of DPNs in same size as needed for gauge
- stitch marker
- tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:
Gauge is 24 sts and 40 rows over 4”/10cm of pattern as written, worked in the round and blocked. Please be sure to check your gauge.
Measurements:
This hat measures about is 10.75”/27cm tall by 8.25”/21cm across, when measured flat. The stitch motif is ribbing and has a lot of stretch, so this hat fits most adults despite the seemingly-narrow flat measurement.
Oh hey, this hat pattern also has a stitch pattern chart! Those are a lot of fun to make.
