Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5mm hook for the blanket in the main photo, which creates 57” x 57” blanket.

You will need at least 2 colors of yarn - one for the background, & one for the main design (the skull diamonds & crow in the window. The main image shows some optional colors added mid-row, and some of the tester projects are even more creative with their colors! But this design works well with just 2 colors for those who want something more simple.

Dark Grey = 934 yds
Purple = 609 yds
Light Violet = 701 yrds
Dusty Purple = 301 yds
Spruce Green = 177 yds
Soft Grey = 127 yds
