This pattern is available from etsy.com for $5.00.

This scarf was inspired by the Stretching Portraits in Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion attraction. The portrait featured is the Tightrope Walker above a hungry crocodile.

It is a stranded colorwork pattern with an optional cable edging.

The pattern is easy to knit with only two colors of yarn, but some experience with colorwork is recommended. This project is suitable for intermediate to experienced knitters.

The pattern includes a stitch chart and written instructions for completing the scarf. The chart includes an option “Hidden Mickey” variation for the ultimate Disney fan!

I loved using Brooklyn Loft in Thistle & Cast Iron for this project. It has a great heather look giving this scarf subtle variation and depth! If you use the same yarn be sure to hand wind as it tends to break if wound on a yarn swift.
