Two weeks ago I was in Manhattan and noticed people had a great sense of style. Clean, classic well fitting garments in neutrals and muted tones, topped with a beautiful cowl or scarf around the neck. That was my inspiration when designing Haute Couture…

Classic Elite’s Chalet is sinfully luscious, giving high style to this wardrobe accessory. This design was knit using 4 skeins of color #7403-Steel. It has a lot of positive ease making it a snap to style in different ways.

This piece is knit flat and joined together using a three-needle bind off that blends in nicely with the stitch pattern. Fringe is knitted as you go, not added later. Don’t worry too much about gauge as long as it is close it will work out just fine.

Detailed written instructions include methods for casting on and binding off, pictures and a few hints to make things easy.

In addition to the yarn required you will need:
3 knitting needles, US #10 1/2 (6.5 mm)
Crochet Hook, US # 7 (4.5mm) larger will do too
Waste Yarn that is smooth and is bulky in weight
Tapestry Needle
