This pattern is available for free.

This pattern is given as a basic recipe for a sock knit from the toe-up with stitch counts to fit an average size womans foot (8”) and an average size mens foot (9”).

Once you have mastered this, you can change it up a little – add in a stitch pattern or two. Add a little cable – the choice is yours.
The pattern is written for magic loop but can easily be adapted to your preferred method of small circumference knitting.

Grab some fun self striping yarn and get knitting.

Please note: this pattern is ideally suited for self striping yarn which needs a plain (no pattern) sock. If using a highly variegated yarn, pooling may occur as there is no pattern or use of slip stitches to break up the colour repeats.

Pattern support: please note that this is a pattern made freely available to all knitters and as such is not offered with pattern support.
