This is a classic top-down yoked sweater; starting from the neck, increasing across the yoke and then separating for sleeves. The body is worked straight and finished with seed stitches. Sleeves are 3/4 and are worked in MC and finished with CC seed sts. On my sample I did a bit of colorwork on the sleeves but I didn’t like it so I omitted it in the pattern. I like my sleeves rather short but feel free to make them full length, just remember to get enough yarn. The collar is finished with an I-cord.

Yarn
You need yarn in two colors.
Advice regarding yarn selection: This design is made to bring out a heavily variegated CC yarn. So if you have 1-2 skeins of clown-looking yarn, this is the project for it. Your MC on the other hand needs to be solid-colored.
MC: 78%
CC: 22%

Needles and notions
This sweater is knit with 3.5mm/US4 needles, but if your colorwork tends to be tight, switch to 4.0mm/US6 needles for it. You will need circular needles of various lengths from 40cm/16 inches and up.

Testers rated pattern difficulty 4/10.
