A cosy shawl that knits up quickly in worsted-weight yarn, this design features simple but effective textured stitch patterns which will make you want to keep knitting!
This triangular shawl is knitted with a top-down shawl construction technique.

Cast on at the nape of the neck, then increase outwards to form three points. Two garter-stitch segments alternate with Wildflower Knot Stitch, a raised pattern on a stocking-stitch background. Eyelet lace insertions divide the three sections, and the shawl is trimmed with tassels that use up leftover yarn.

MEASUREMENTS
Wingspan: 134cm/52¾”
Depth: 70cm/27½”

YARN
Approx 750m/820yd worsted-weight yarn
The featured yarn is a plump, 3-ply, non-superwash Merino wool that yields a delightfully cuddly handle. This worsted-weight yarn is knit at a slightly looser gauge than normal, in order to produce fabric with more drape. If substituting a different yarn, for similar results choose a woollen-spun, worsted-weight wool.
De Rerum Natura Gilliatt (100% Merino wool; 250m/273yd per 100g ball)
3 balls in shade Aubépine

Use the relevant needle sizes to achieve this gauge.
