HAYLAGE
A field of timothy grass at different stages of ripening, swaying slowly against the bright evening sky. Timothy grass is one of the most common varieties of grass used in hay. The Haylage shawl makes use of negative space to give life and excitement to the grass landscape.

GENERAL
Haylage starts from one tip and increases and decreases along the bottom edge.

Start with the smaller charts when they fit in the stitch count, then knit the charts in any order you like. Decide how deep or wide you want the shawl by just continuing to knit increase rows or adding more charts until you’re happy.

SIZE
Approximately 200 cm wide x 38 cm high in sample shawl.
