Haynet Wrap
The Haynet Wrap makes a cozy late fall/winter accessory. This wrap works up quickly with an open stitch pattern in super bulky yarn. The fringe adds flair, but is completely optional. Including the fringe leaves no ends to weave in. The simple stitch pattern is perfect for beginning crocheters as a first project.
This is a beginner level pattern. Stitches required are chain, single crochet, and treble crochet stitches. The wrap works up quickly because of the large hook and loose stitch pattern. Video tutorials to help master the stitches are included. Use the QR code in the pattern to access the short series.
The pattern makes a wrap (pictured) that is approximately 22”(56 cm) wide and 72” (183 cm) long after blocking.
This wrap can easily be made as long or short as you like. To make it wider, just add to the beginning chain in multiples of two. To make it longer, keep adding rows until the scarf reaches desired length.
