ABOUT THE PATTERN AND DESIGN
Worked entirely in the round and seamlessly, the Haze Beanie is a great introduction to crocheting with mohair or other long-haired fibers. The double layered beanie is brushed at the very end to create an extra warm and fuzzy accessory. The largest size uses less than 100 g of mohair, so it’s also perfect for using up scraps from older projects to create your own personalized gradient.

SKILLS USED
You should know how to crochet, read a crochet pattern, be comfortable with the basic stitches, make a magic circle, work in spiral rounds, increase, work in the front loop only, decrease, and brush mohair.

SIZING
This pattern comes with instructions for 2 sizes: Adult Medium (Adult Large). The adult medium fits head circumferences of 21-22.5 in 53.5-57 cm, and the adult large fits head circumferences of 22.5-24 in 57-61 cm.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Rowan Kidsilk Haze (2 strands of yarn are held together throughout the pattern)
230 yds 210 m / 0.9 oz 25 g
(other suggested yarns Hobbii Friends Kid Silk, Drops Kid-Silk, or, Valley Yarns Southampton but most lace weight mohair yarns should work)
Hook: E/3.5 mm crochet hook or any other hook needed to obtain the gauge
Other: Stitch markers, darning needle, scissors, tape measure, and a mohair brush

AMOUNT OF YARN NEEDED
The amount listed below is the total amount of yarn needed for 1 beanie. Divide the amounts below by the number of colors you’ll use to determine how much of each color you’ll need:
Adult Medium: 740 yds 680 m / 2.8 oz 80 g
Adult Large: 830 yds 760 m / 3.2 oz 90 g
