Description:
This delicate top made from hazy wool and glittery yarn is reminiscent of 70s fashion, which is currently trending.

The sparkly blue combo is like a winter wonderland with frozen icicles, which can be paired with smart wide leg trousers for a more formal affair or even white flared jeans, as the cosmos yarn represents the glitter ball of 1970s disco music.

In summer it can be paired with denim shorts or jeans.

Notes:
Only 1 skein of each yarn is required, some points the yarns are worked together double-stranded and the rest is in lacework.

Construction
This top is relatively easy to construct as it is worked mostly in one piece. Also the top is worked in the round up until the back is cast off and the front is worked back and forth.

I have included a chart for reference and to aid with construction.

This pattern has been shortlisted in the unravel… a festival of yarn 2020 design competition. My top is very different to the other competitors pieces in terms of pattern, yarn and techniques, so please vote for it by clicking on this link: wshe.es/X9iqOM17.

You can vote once everyday until Monday 27th January.

The pattern will be added on here once the competition is over, but this also depends on my normal job!

Thanks.
