These fingering weight socks are knit from the top down with a contrast color folded cuff to give them a fun little pop. It’s a great way to use your mini skeins or scrap yarn. A true afterthought heel is cut in once the sock tube and toe are completed. Detailed instructions with pictures and video tutorial links are provided for the folded cuff and afterthought heel.

This pattern offers seven sock sizes designed to fit with 0.5 to 1.5 inches of negative ease. Measure your foot circumference around the widest part of your foot to pick your size. If you are unsure of which size to pick between, I recommend going a size down as socks are supposed to have a snug fit.

Your foot circumference in inches:
5.5 - 6 , 6.5 - 7 ( 7 - 7.5 , 8 - 8.5 , 9 - 9.5 , 10 - 10.5 , 11 - 11.5 )
Your foot circumference in centimeters:
13.97 - 15.24 , 16.51 - 17.78 ( 17.78 - 19.05, 20.32 - 21.59, 22.86 - 24.13 , 25.4 - 26.67, 27.94 - 29.21 )

Your corresponding size based on your foot circumference:
toddler, child ( 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5 )

Other materials recommended are locking stitch markers, a tapestry needle, and a very sharp pair of scissors.
