Headphone Hat
The idea for the headphone hat came from me (a woman) sitting at my desk at work in the frigid office environment set to the temperature for the ‘working person’ (classically man). I like to listen to music while I work, but I am so cold in the office that I need to keep my head warm!
After posting about this hat there have been so many uses that other people have come up with! My favorite being a help to people who wear hearing aids (reduction in interference), and people who do not like things touching their ears. If my pattern is used to help make someone’s day to day life better, I will be absolutely thrilled!
This is a pattern for an adventurous beginner. It starts with a provisional cast so the brim can be folded to a thick fabric. There are increases and decreases done on the purl side, but the pattern contains links to all tutorials that might be needed.
