This sock is knit from the cuff down using charted stitch patterns. A combination of increases, decreases and some very simple, cable-less twisted stiches are all that are used to make a really classy-looking mens’ sock. You can create a lacier, more feminine version of the sock if you work a Yarn Over (YO) instead of the Lifted Increases in the charts.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate sock knitters who are familiar with the basics of sock construction. Lifted Increases are used extensively in this pattern; if you’ve never done them before, please make sure you read the instructions very carefully.

This pattern consumes more yarn than your standard sock, which is why I recommend extra yardage for the largest size. Please keep this in mind when choosing your yarn; there’s nothing worse than running out!
