This is a little traditional decorative piece that can be found in every Venetian household. A gorgeous puffy heart, constructed in the round, that can be filled with lavender flowers, cloves and spices to bring to the home a wonderful scent of nature.

On the construction:
This pattern is knitted in the round using the magic loop technique.

Sizes:
Sizes vary by varying yarn weight and gauge. This example is about 15cm/6” by 8cm/3”.

Yarn:
2 strands held together of Holst garn SUPERSOFT 100% Wool, Ecru, Bokhara.

Yarn Requirements:
2 colour, about 10g/0.5oz per colour.

Tension:
18 Sts and 24 rounds = 10cm/4” over stockinette

Needles Suggestion:
3.5mm US4 circular needle or DPNs
