Pretty intarsia knitting pattern for a rainbow heart hot water bottle cover, although it can be knitted in just one colour if you prefer, or stripes of any colour so long as they are three rows each.

Knitted with chunky/bulky yarn, you will only need one standard 100g ball of yarn for this cover, plus yarn for the heart.
Designed to fit a standard 2 litre hot water bottle.

this is knitted mostly all in one piece, and then just folds into place, so you can sew it up along the side seams, apart from the envelope opening at the back, and the funnel, so it’s quite an easy pattern if you are trying intarsia for the first time.

14 stitches x 10 rows=4 inches/10cm. on 6mm/no.10 knitting needles.
