Initially published in Knit Now 25 using Jamiesons Spindrift, These mitts came about from the phrase ‘Holding your heart in my hands’. They are designed so that the hearts are secretly held safe in the palm with a flower motif on the back of the hand.

The pattern was initially published in Knit Now magazine in 2013 and has been updated since using a different yarn and colourway.

Worked from the wrist cuff to the finger opening the colour-work patterning continues through the thumb gusset.

We love this design because it combines traditional Fair Isle techniques to make a pretty, modern accessory.

This pattern will be available to buy from supermarkets, news agents and craft stores, and online either as part of Knit Now Issue 25 from 22nd August 2013. The listed price is for the whole magazine as a digital issue. The physical edition is £4.99 and includes the supplement and set of 3 metal stitch holders.
