The Heart of Yarn crochet sweater pattern is a little different from the norm. I call it a ‘make it your own’ pattern because of the versatility it offers.

Not only does it guide you to create a simple elegant drop shoulder sweater, with an optional heart motif, it also allows you to choose your fit (classic or relaxed), length (cropped or standard), sleeve length (short, 3/4 length or full length), neckline (roll neck, round neck or boat neck), hem and cuff styles (standard or long).

This means you can make your own customised sweater to suit your individuality!

Skill Level
The heart of yarn sweater uses simple stitches and a mindful easy stitch pattern, with bobbles to create the heart motif.
It is worked in flat panels and uses easy construction methods for the drop shoulder design and includes a link to a video tutorial demonstrating how to join the pieces which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9AxpTnEsOA

Sizing
The pattern is written for women’s sizes XS - 3XL in two fit options (classic or relaxed).
You can also choose a different sleeve size to body size meaning you can make it fit your body shape!

Materials
The pattern can be made with any aran / worsted weight yarn which meets gauge, using a 5.5mm crochet hook.
The amount varies depending on the size, fit, sleeve and neck line styles you choose, but guidance is given in the pattern.

The pattern is written using US Crochet terms and delivered via a PDF download.
