Original pattern calls for discontinued yarns (Jaeger Aqua or Baby Merino DK). Substituting Jaeger Matchmaker DK has worked nicely, but it is now also discontinued. Any DK weight yarn knitted to gauge should be sufficient.

Sizes included range from 0-3 months up to 4-5 years. Main color requires 230-575 yds, and contrast color requires 115-230 yds, dependent upon size.

This cardigan has a bell-ruffle hem, intarsia squares, and is embellished with beading, a sewn-on heart, and minimal embroidery.
