SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE
The scarf is worked in a striped stitch pattern that combines ribbing with garter stitch. At the beginning, stitches are gradually increased on both sides to achieve the desired width. The scarf is then worked straight without shaping, and at the end, stitches are decreased symmetrically so that both ends taper evenly and have matching shape.

ABOUT INCREASES
The increases are done using a kfb technique that increases your stitch count by one by knitting into the front loop, then the back loop of the same stitch before dropping it.
