These socks are my attempt to create a textured geometric patterned sock that is still simple to knit! The patterning uses only knit, purl and slipped stitches, and is easy to memorize.

This pattern can be knit toe up or cuff down, and with sock weight yarn or sport weight yarn, and instructions are provided for both. The pattern stitch looks quite different depending on the yarn used - a tonal yarn looks very geometric, and a self striping yarn carries one colour into the next for a unique look. Instructions are provided for a heel flap and gusset, but your preferred heel method or pattern can be substituted.

The sport weight socks are extra cozy, and may be my new favourite yarn weight for socks!

If you buy both the Hearth Socks and the Hearth Hat & Mittens patterns you will receive a discount of $1 off each pattern!
