Hearts Galore Filet Blanket
Wrap your little baby in a blanket of love! Create this stunning heart blanket for your own little one or as a gift. Although it appears to be made in patches, this two-tone “patchwork” blanket is crocheted in one piece from the bottom-up, changing yarn along each row, and needs no sewing together at the end.
The pattern is very easy for beginners as there are no unusual or difficult stitches to master. There are clear photographs to show how to change yarn colour during the row. The pattern contains written instructions with full stitch counts for every row of the blanket, as well as a complete crochet chart.
YARN: DK/Light worsted/8-ply acrylic yarn (I used approx 360g/12.7oz in total for the blanket)
STITCHES: Slip stitches, chains, double crochet (UK)/single crochet (US) and treble crochet (UK)/double crochet(US)
CROCHET HOOKS: Size 4.00mm (G/6) and a size 3.50mm (E/4) crochet hook
OTHER: Yarn needle, scissors
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx 36in x 29in / 92cm x 74cm.
