This is a top-down, raglan colorwork cardigan.
You’ll begin by working flat short rows with 5mm needles.

Colorwork
After picking up stitches for the steek, you’ll work in the round, incorporating increases and colorwork until the sleeve separation.

After Sleeve Separation
Following the pattern, you’ll complete the body with colorwork and stockinette stitch, decreasing as you go. The very end will be finished with colorwork and then crocheted for a neat edge. You will then pick up stitches again to work a 1x1 rib.

Sleeves
Gather the stitches you put on hold for the sleeves and work them in the round. After the initial colorwork section, you’ll decrease the sleeves while working in stockinette stitch, finishing with a 1x1 rib on 4mm needles.

Steek
The steek stitches are reinforced with crochet and then cut. You’ll create a button band with ribbing, and the remaining steek stitches will be hidden with a mattress stitch.
