In 2016 I’m hosting a Designer’s Challenge Test-along. Each month I’ll post a less commonly used stitch/technique. The challenge to two part-- everyone shares projects they’ve made with that stitch/technique, and I design a pattern using it as well. The remainder of the month is spent testing the pattern. At the end of the month it will be converted to a standard Ravelry pattern and added to the e-book.

February’s challenge is to use the Jacob’s Ladder stitch.

This stitch involves lengths of chains which form loops They are then woven together, The finished texture is a thick cord which rests across the surface of the crochet.
