This cowl is worked in the flat for the bottom and top edge and in the round for body. It features a garter slip rib edge. The top edge is made inside out, to get a woven effect and to differentiate it from the bottom edge. The pattern was inspired by the heather in bloom tumbling down the Uradale hills.

This cowl uses Uradale Yarns JW (jumperweight/fingering/4pl) yarn:
Ling Heath (25g)
Moss Heath (25g)
Beremeal (25g)
Tormentil Heath (25g)
Sea Pink Heath (25g)

Needle size:
3mm and 3.5mm circular needles or DPNs.

Size:
Finished circumference: ca 58 cm
Length: ca 25 cm
Size can be adjusted by using larger or smaller needles. Size and width can also be adjusted slightly when blocking.

Kit is available from Uradale Yarns for 25.00 GBP
