This lovely cowl and matching headband knitting pattern uses a yarn called Sirdar Freya which is soft brushed cotton. Has a warm and soft feel when worn and yet light and airy due to the lace construction. The yarn is described as a chunky weight yarn, and is discontinued now, however, you could use an alternative chunky weight yarn with a brushed texture to get a similar effect, on 6mm needles such as Rowan brushed fleece.

A simple lace knitting pattern, suitable for advanced beginner or intermediate skilled knitter.
