This blanket may be crocheted using a variety of yarns:
• 4 ply/baby/sport yarn (approx. 450 g) or
• 8 ply/DK/Light Worsted (approx. 1522 g) or
• any other yarn.

Yarn quantities will vary depending on the yarn chosen, hook size and individual tension. The quantities listed above are a guide only.

It is best crocheted using a slow colour changing yarn that gives an ombre effect, or a solid colour. This will allow the texture to really stand out.
I do not recommend using a variegated yarn or one that changes colour quickly.

This pattern includes a UK stitch version and a US stitch version.
