Snow is the one most specific phenomena that separates the Nord form the rest of the world.
Sami people have over 180 words for snow, that’s how significant in is in the every day life.
Finnish language has only around 50 words for snow, from them “lumi” is the most common. It is also a female name.
Snow brings light to the polar night and darkness of the winter.

Snow angels are people sized imprints of angels in the snow made in the winter time by children and lucky adults.
You lay on your back on un tread snow, spread your arms and legs and move them as if you were to do jumping jacks. You stop for a while and stare at the starlit sky and get lost in the vast space for a moment. You feel peaceful and happy. Soon the cold tiptoes it’s way to your body and you have to get up. You brush the snow off your body and look at your beautiful now angel.
