Heddle Cowl was created to be an easy breezy pattern, resulting in a thick textured fabric, perfect for keeping out a chilly wind!

The cowl is worked flat, and crochets up quickly, making it ideal for a last minute gift.

Size is adjustable - from a snug cowl to a long, looped scarf; pattern repeats are explained in the pattern.

I have made several using Aran weight yarn from several companies and all have turned out beautifully. You could easily customise and make it yours with a different colour for the ‘braids’ or edging.
