Chunky knit hedgehog cushion cover, knitted all in one piece then folded into position, creating an envelope opening at the back, and then sewn up at the sides only.

You will need 3 100g balls of Life chunky or Hayfield bonus chunky or the equivalent yarn with the correct tension.

For the prickles I have used Sirdar click chunky in ‘Peppercorn’, or any other flecked or tweedy yarn would be great.

A little beige and light brown is also needed,

There is a little finishing off by hand sewing on the face.

Knits with chunky yarn, Tension:

14 stitches x 20 rows = 10 cm/4 inches on 6 mm needles.
