You could use any yarn to make this hedgehog, but remember to adjust the hook size accordingly so that your stitches are nice and tight and the stuffing does not show through.

You will need a small amount of yarn for the face, nose and feet but a full 50g for the prickles which are worked on the surface of the hedgehog.

I used Drops Alpaca and Drops Delight to make him.

I think he would be lovely in bright cottons with embroidered rather than bead eyes to make him suitable for a child, as he is very tactile.
