These colourful mittens feature the Estonian goat’s eye motif and are a great way to use up remnants of fingering weight yarn.

The yardage breakdown is as follows:

120 m / 130 yards fingering weight yarn in main colour
35 m / 38 yards fingering weight yarn in contrast colour 1
35 m / 38 fingering weight yarn in contrast colour 2
35 m / 38 fingering weight yarn in contrast colour 3
35 m / 38 fingering weight yarn in contrast colour 4

If you want to knit the mittens using only a main colour and a single contrast colour, you will need 120 m / 130 yards of the main colour and 140 m / 155 yards of the contrast colour.

These mittens are part of my series Among the Æsir, a collection of patterns inspired by the Norse gods and their world. Heidrun is a goat in Valhalla who produces mead for the dead warriors.
