The pattern is worked top down from a yoked bodice. The skirt alone has 79 rounds. The dress measures 31 inches and the waist is 24 inches.
I have used 1/2 to 1 1/2 inch ribbon for the waist and both look equally beautiful. The instructions include for gown only.

It’s a relatively simple pattern. There is however a lot of counting of stitches and repeats. A beautiful dress that truly will become an heirloom.
