This PDF pattern shows how to make a Scandinavian-style lopapeysa, famous in knitting. I wanted to have a lopapeysa sweater, but didn’t have time to knit it. This is how I came to an idea of crocheting a colorful pullover. If you are, like me, in love with the hook and these lovely sweaters, this pattern is for you!
Pls, make sure you have enough crochet skills. I suppose it’s upper intermediate level, surely not for beginners. The sweater has a top-to-down construction, crocheted IN ROUNDS with NO SEAMS, as a one-piece.
So, what you get on almost 40 pages? Both versions (US Standard terms and British terms) include:
1) Sizes and measurements
2) Yarn and gauge recommendations
3) Main instructions (line-by-line for the yoke with a graph and a photo for each row)
4) Care and making tips
5) Important tips to help you make the best fitting sweater
6) Lots of photos and options for cuffs and necks.

Surely you can adjust the pattern to any size you need (from a child version to a men’s) following the constructions principle.
MATERIALS needed:
1) Total yarn weight needed is 480-500 g (for small size) and 580-650 (for medium size). Also, color C can be excluded from the list, bicolor versions also look great.
2) Hook size 2-3 mm depending on your individual gauge.
3) 4 stitch markers.
4) Tailoring tape to measure yourself and the item while working on the pattern.
