Heliodor Socks feature stripes of garter stitch and slipped stitch sections, making these a perfect project for variegated yarns. The pattern is offered in four sizes to fit nearly anyone. These socks are knit from the top down with a traditional heel flap and gusset construction. Pick out that special skein of hand-painted sock yarn that you’ve been coveting — these socks will show off your stitches beautifully.

This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns.

Special Sizing Notes: The slip-stitch Heliodor Pattern creates a tighter fit that does not have very much stretch. If you are a tight knitter, or if you are unsure of what size to choose, please consider knitting one size larger to achieve a comfortable fit.
