Helix Stripes are easy and clean multi-colored stripes knit in the round. There are no yarns to carry or floats on the backside. There is no jog or jagged edge in the stripe. There are no additional yarns to join or weave in.

The Helix uses only one simple continuous spiral strand for each color from start to finish. Great for stash busting!

The number of colors is up to you. You will need at least two colors to alternate. Three contrasting and coordinating colors are recommended for the most effective striping. Use more than 4 or 5 colors and the spiral becomes stretched out and the contour of the spiral will not be as smooth.

Pattern include three styles to choose from:
Beanie, Slouch, or Elvin Stocking Cap
with a rolled or ribbed brim.
