Part of my heritage is Greek, and I wanted to design a special piece inspired by Greek culture that non-Greeks would love as well. This cowl is based off of my Hellas Scarf, but quicker and easier, and worked in the round instead of flat.

The stitches are fairly basic but based on mosaic crochet. One side shows the Greek key design, and the other is striped with some texture. A video is provided to explain the only special stitch. A graphic of the motif is also provided in addition to the written instructions.

The yarn used is a heavy worsted weight - possibly closer to an aran weight.
