In my adult life, I’ve learned a lot about my own quirks. I talk out loud to myself when I’m thinking really hard, my response to stress is to go to sleep, and I’m extremely sensory when it comes to textures, both tactually and visually. I have Trypophobia, so some textures give me the heebie jeebies, yet other textures bring me great pleasure. The tree bark-like texture of the Hemlock Cardigan has quickly become my favourite fabric to knit. I really wanted to make a lighter weight pullover version, thus I adapted the design into the Hemlock Sweater!

This design features the same stitch pattern in an extra wide, drop shoulder, cropped pullover. It’s my most wearable garment in my closet to date.
