Everyone needs a good scrubby at home! These are made with 3-ply worsted weight hemp yarn from Darn Good Yarn, a company that’s dedicated to using natural and recycled fibers from ethical sources. This particular yarn has been sourced from a co-op in Nepal, and the fiber was grown 100% pesticide free. Hemp is a naturally anti-microbial and mildew resistant fiber, properties that makes it perfect for home use.

The hemp is very durable and softens with time, and will actually benefit from frequent machine washing and drying. The scrubbies will get softer with each wash, becoming more absorbent as they soften. The more they’re used and loved, the better they work!

These scrubbies can also be used as potholders, or as trivets to be used under a hot dish at the table. I’ve provided two different sizes in this pattern so all your needs will be covered!

Small: Around 5.5” x 5.5”, the small scrubby is a perfect size for scrubbing dishes or for use as a washcloth.

Large: At 7” x 7”, the large size scrubby is perfect for use as a trivet at your table, or for larger cleaning needs.

Additional Gauge Information
The gauge will change over the life of your scrubbies as they’re washed and dried. Pattern gauge is measured before washing and drying.
