Henny mitts and tiny scarf
This pattern came about when I decided to do something with 2 balls of Cardiff Cashmere that had been resting in my yarn stash for almost a year. I wanted a pair of fingerless mitts for the office, and I also wanted to use up both balls. The mitts need exactly one ball, and the tiny scarf exactly one ball. If you make any changes to the pattern that makes it larger, 1 ball per piece will not be enough. The mitts and scarf together will be perfect to have lying around the office for those days when it suddenly gets a little too cold. The structure was added to break up some stockinette, and I wanted to bring the twisted ribbing into the structure. The mittens can be worked in stockinette as well, and they can be made a little smaller by going down half a needle size.
