Note to Customers:
Please be aware that all of my patterns use the KLL (knit left loop) or KRL (knit right loop) increase methods.
These are nearly invisible increases that help maintain a super clean look of the fabric.
A whimsical knitting pattern featuring Henrietta the hen and her little eggs. Full of character and country-chic charm, she is perfect for playful Easter decorating, a quirky handmade gift, or a delightful keepsake for chicken lovers and knitters alike.
MATERIALS: Oatmeal DK yarn approximately: 10 g
Brown DK yarn approximately: 10 g
Yellow DK yarn approximately: 2 g
Red DK yarn approximately: 2 g
White fingering yarn approximately: 2 g (for the eggs)
a handful black and white thread for decoration
KNITTING GAUGE:
24 sts and 28 rows to 10 x 10 cm = 4” x 4” in stocking stitch (knit row on right side, purl row on wrong side) and 2.5 mm needles.
Gauge is not critical for this project. Work tight enough to make sure the stuffing would not show through the stitches.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 10 cm/ 3.93’’
The size will vary based on yarn type, needle size and your personal tension.
