This adorable Blanket pattern is knitted flat in one piece, corner to corner and can be made into a larger throw, or a small cuddle blanket, pram blanket or afghan. Enough detail is incorporated in this pattern to hold your interest, and knits up quickly using an Aran weight yarn. This blanket has been graded suitable for the advanced beginner knitter. Pattern also comes with Chart.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner.
You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl, complete yo’s and pass slipped stitched over, read a row by row knitting pattern, and weave in ends. Blocking of finished blanket is recommended. The texture of the pattern will show up best using a solid colour yarn.

FINISHED MEASUREMENT Before blocking 70cm x 70cm (27 ½in x 27 ½in)
After blocking 82cm x 82cm (32¼in x 32¼in)

TENSION / GAUGE 17 stitches x 25 rows = 10cm (4in) worked in Main patternon 5mm (US 8 : UK 6) needles.

MATERIALS REQUIRED - Medium #4, Worsted, Afghan, Aran yarn - 75m /82 yards per 50g ball (9 balls)
One pair 5mm (US 8: UK 6) extra long straight needles
or circulars, 80cm long to accommodate large
number of stitches.
