This cushion cover is knitted in the round in one piece using a waste yarn cast on then afterwards I do some applied Icords to really define the edges. It is then felted. If you haven’t felted before I suggest that you check out my “felting notes and calculations” for handy hints and tips on how to make a success of felting and how to make sure that things come out the right size.

I used 9 yarns - a mix of natural tones and plant dyed yarns, totalling around 300 grams.

The buttons are natural carved sheep horn just to keep in the spirit of things!

Stuff it with fleece or feathers to make it extra comfy.
