I wanted to create a spring collection with an elegant feel and muted colours. I usually use a lot of bright colours, so this actually turned out to be a fun challenge for me! The spring collection is inspired by the changing seasons and everything that is budding and growing.

The Hermine Sweater is knitted in the round, bottom-up with mock cables on the ribbing. The body and sleeves are worked separately before being joined on the same needle. The yoke is worked in three colours, and the flowers are added using duplicate stitches at the end.

Gauge:
10 cm stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 18 stitches
10 cm stranded knit on 5 mm needles = 18 stitches
(The needle sizes are only a guide. If you get more stitches than specified per 10 cm, go up a needle size. If you get fewer stitches than specified, go down a needle size).

Luna, Vidde, and/or Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.

(Add an extra 50 grams of the main colour if you are knitting a high neck/turtleneck)

Pattern colour 3: Under 15 grams for all sizes (for duplicate stitching)

Needles:
Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm
Circular needles (40 cm): 3.5 mm, 4.5 mm, and 5 mm
Circular needles (80 cm): 3.5 mm, 4.5 mm, and 5 mm

Sweater Measurements:
This sweater has a positive ease of between 5 and 10 cm. If you want a more oversized fit, go up one size from what you usually wear.
