A tiny, but surprisingly spacious, over the shoulder pouch inspired by the little bag Hermione carries around in The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (dir. David Yates). You know the one.

HERMIONE is knitted across DPNs, and is created right-side out (get ready to purl!). Gauge is 8sts across 1in, though as long as your yarn and needles are creating a fabric you are happy with, your bag will turn out just fine.

In the spirit of Ms. Granger’s incredible bag that held everything the Golden Trio needed to survive, the Hermione Pouch holds a lot more than you’d expect! I can get wallet, keys, lotion, lip balm, feminine supplies, and lens wipes in it together and it does not appear overstuffed.

I used Malabrigo Yarn Sock in color “Carnival” and used about half of the skein. I recommend a heavier fingering weight for this project, and have included a couple of suggestions in the posting.
