Knit with size US 7 needles on a 16 inch circular cable

This is a fun and easy cowl to knit up with some interesting texture created by the Hermione’s Everyday stitch pattern.

It is a fairly close fitting neck cowl but it is easily modified to any width by adding stitches to your cast on in multiples of 4. You can also adjust the height of the cowl easily by doing more of the 4 row pattern repeats.

This pattern is a good beginner’s knitting in the round pattern as it just uses knit and purl stitches.

Finished size is 11” circumference and 8” height when measured laying flat in half after gentle blocking. Please note, that if you are using superwash yarn, the circumference and height may “grow”more with blocking than if you used non-superwash yarn.

Guage isn’t overly critical for this pattern.
